The Lopesan Villa del Conde Resort & Thalasso gave a very warm welcome to the Spanish soprano Ainhoa Arteta when she visited Gran Canaria on the last weekend in March on the occasion of a concert she offered in the Basilica of San Juan in Telde.

During a meeting at the hotel with the mayor of Telde and the Culture councillor of the local town hall, Mrs. Arteta expressed her gratefulness to “all the institutions and companies cooperating with culture” and she said that she was "very satisfied” with her work at present, because according to her words “I’m very lucky to be able to decide where I give my concerts”.

The Basque singer did not hesitate to say that Gran Canaria “is a wonderful island where I feel beloved and where I have excellent friends”; at the same time she announced that “without doubt I am going to continue coming to this land whenever they call me”.

In spite of being considered one of the great international opera divas, during her stay on the island Ainhoa Arteta showed to be very affable, kind and natural with all the persons who approached her to show her their respect and admiration for her work. On the other hand the management of Lopesan Hotels & Resorts told her that it was an honour to have such a famous and distinguished guest at one of our hotels again – since she already stayed at the Lopesan Costa Meloneras Resort & Spa in 2008 – and the hotel chain thanked her for all her eulogies on the Lopesan hotels.
