How to get here

Arrival by car
Most of the routes to Mittelberg meet in Ulm and then follow the A7 to the motorway junction Allgäu (Kempten) direction Oberstdorf.
Take the exit Waltenhofen. From there the road B19 continues towards Oberstdorf via Sonthofen and then on into the Kleinwalsertal.
Once in Kleinwalsertal, you pass through the villages of Riezlern and Hirschegg until you reach the Walserstrasse road. The IFA Alpenrose Hotel is on the right side.
After 100 m, turn left direction Baad/Bödmen. 600 m thereafter, by the “Sportwinkel” shop, turn again left. Continue for 1.3 km and you will reach the IFA Breitach Apartments. The IFA Alpenhof Wildental Hotel is only 100 m further on.

Arrival by train
The Oberstdorf railway station, ten kilometres away, is the end of the rail journey.
There are direct trains from Münster (Recklinghausen, Gelsenkirchen, Essen, Duisburg, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Bonn), Hamburg, Aachen, Munich, Augsburg, Berlin, Dresden, Hof/Regensburg and Chemnitz.
The hotel will be pleased to arrange collection from the station in Oberstdorf at your cost. Taxis are also available at the station 24 hours a day.

Deutsche Bahn

Arrival by bus
The public bus, Walserbus, leaves every 15 minutes during the high season. The journey to Kleinwalsertal takes about 25 minutes. The “Alpenrose” bus stop in Mittelberg is just opposite the IFA Alpenrose Hotel. If you wish so, on request, we can collect you there and take you to the IFA Alpenhof Wildental.
